How to take Notes useful review

As a student you will be probably spend hours and hours to write notes in your lectures, classes and study groups, so that when it comes to the long time to review that you know that you have done each last written, giving you the greatest chance of success. But when it comes to review you need to seriously change your year of notes worth so you have something succinct but useful to work from.

The key to useful revision notes to write is to write something that stimulates your mind remembering the important sections of information and, obviously, to write something that helps you understand the information. For example, if you happened to have spent a Conference to learn about the economies of scale, you will have perhaps taken notes, including a definition of economies of scale, diagrams or charts explaining the concept and then perhaps detailed examples of economies of scale in practice. Complete reading these notes could potentially cover pages and pages of paper. Some students are happy to review just the notes, learning every last sentence Word for Word, that can help you to some extent, but unless you specifically request to provide a definition, draw a diagram and mention a case study, you can find yourself in difficulties. So it's better to take notes that you can learn and then recalled the essential information, but that also allow you to understand the subject and be able to apply your knowledge in response to any question. For example; What are the advantages and disadvantages of economies of scale?

To do this, you should begin by understanding the key elements of the topic, you need to review. Once you've established between five and ten key elements then you should consider some additional details, the list with bullets under each of the key positions. These balls must be sufficiently complete to help you remember information but not too detailed so that they cause you to learn mode of parrot. If necessary you can then add more detail in each of these chips, and continuing in this manner until you have covered all the essential content.

A commonly used method of taking notes of review is to apply the method above in a mind map. With maps of the mind illustrate you your subject to review on a single sheet of paper. To start a mind map you write the title of the topic in the center of the page and then, instead of using the points of la ball, dessinez arms branching la the subject heading and la list of all the relevant information at the end of each arm. You can then extend these weapons with subsequent detail by other branches, to create a card effect. The result is a Visual representation of your knowledge, with the theory that it is easier to remember information when you view it, and a map of the mind is a great way to do this.
